Ministry Partner Development (MPD) refers to the building and care of a ministry partner team for the spiritual and financial support of one’s ministry. Ministry partners take many forms such as prayer partners, financial supporters, and encouragers. In the building of this team, our staff meet with people they have contacted out of their own networks. As they meet in person and share with them about the ministry and the particular work they will be part of, they invite the person to join them in the being part of the ministry’s vision. MPD is not a one time thing for new staff. MPD includes continuous care for the ministry partners from the ministry field through regular communication via newsletters, using social media, and in person visits when possible. In many cases these partnerships become lifelong ministry friendships.
